F.I.T. Ventilation™ Fans are engineered and manufactured to provide lasting performance in areas where other materials corrode or decay.

The unique roto-molded design of the F.I.T. Ventilation™ Fan provides an 11º “cone type” air pattern from the outlet of the fan. The shroud is tapered to increase velocity, and the bell entry allows 30% more airflow through the fan using only a 1/2 HP motor.

The F.I.T. Ventilation™ Fan also provides the ability to pivot the fan 180º, allowing the user to choose the angle necessary for most efficient evacuation of smoke and fumes. A standard fan has very limited angle choices.

The F.I.T. Ventilation™ System utilizes air entrainment to efficiently move the air flow. What is air entrainment? Air entrainment is high velocity air which grabs the surrounding air and pulls it into the main air stream . . . it siphons additional air into the pattern. Air entrainment is the tool that makes the F.I.T. Ventilation System ideal for evacuating closed confines such as underground vaults. Using air entrainment makes the F.I.T. Ventilation™ System up to 6 times more powerful than the standard fan.

The F.I.T. Ventilation™ fan has a decided advantage over standard gas powered fans when used to evacuate fumes such as carbon monoxide from a building. The F.I.T. Ventilation™ fan is powered by an electric 1 HP motor, which generates no emissions . . . unlike a gas powered engine which will blow the motor’s exhaust into the building, slowing the evacuation process.

The rugged, compact design of the F.I.T. Ventilation™ fan is ideal for use in fire fighting. As seen in the photos below, the F.I.T. Ventilation system is light-weight, compact and will easily store in the space designed for fan storage on the engine.

F.I.T. Ventilaiton™ offers, as an alternative to expensive exhaust capturing systems, the patented dual model FIT Fan. The FIT Fan is ideal for use in the station house to clear the exhaust generated by the engines and other equipment. The unique design of the FIT Fan creates a wall of air up to 80 ft. wide, moving better than 20,000 CFM of air -- in essence, it creates a wall of air efficiently moving heat and fumes to an exhaust point.
